The subject of this thesis is conceptual design of a restaurant building with a butterfly conservatory along with communication systems allowing free use of the area. The main goal of the thesis was to complement an area of the Health Resort Park in Nałęczów with gastronomic function that would include vegan dishes, which are not served in the neighbourhood. Design concept also assumed creation of an innovative building, that is, the butterfly conservatory, which would be an attraction both for inhabitants and tourists allowing to observe life of Polish and exotic species of butterflies. The use of the ruins of former lounging room located in this area allowed to continue recreational function of the area. Significant design aspect was also respect for existing greenery and adaptation to natural and architectural landscape of historic health resort area.
